Your Voice Matters — See What Families Are Saying About Navigating Mental Health Services.
At System of Care, we believe that families are the heart of the support system, and their experiences help shape the services we provide. To better understand the challenges, concerns, and successes of parents navigating the mental health system for their children, we are conducting the Family Voice Together Survey.
These results offer valuable insights into the experiences of families seeking support. From understanding service options to feeling like an equal partner in their child’s care, parents share their perspectives on what’s working — and where improvements are needed.
Key Findings Reveal:
85.7% of respondents are from Lycoming County, with 14.3% from Clinton County.
64% strongly agree that their child receives better services when they act as an equal partner with providers.
50% of parents find navigating behavioral health or education services difficult, while 78.57% feel overwhelmed finding the right support.
This feedback is crucial in helping us advocate for better resources, clearer communication, and stronger partnerships between families and service providers. Stay tuned as we continue working to improve support for families like yours!
